I loved [REC] and [REC] 2 and I can not wait to see [REC] 3: Genesis. There is no US release date yet but the film will be open in Spain on 30th March, 2012. Check out the press blurb along with the trailer below...

There are only 13 days to go to the next Run For Your Lives race in Atlanta and if you have been thinking about signing up but need a final push maybe this news will help you make your mind up. There will be a guest appearance of  IronE Singleton, who plays T-Dog on AMC’s The Walking Dead. He will be onsite at the event on 3rd March, 2012 to hang out and meet fans.

Today I would like to give a shout out to Simon Pegg as it's his birthday, and this also gives me an excuse to re-post one of the first reviews we did here on Zombiesdrule. The film is  of course  Shaun of the Dead and brought Pegg worldwide fame. 

Shaun of the Dead wasn't the first time Simon Pegg had a run in with zombies, in 1999 Pegg stared one of my favorite British TV series called Spaced. One of these episodes was called "Art" and was  the inspiration for creating Shaun of the Dead. You can see a clip below, but be warn you may get  hooked. Spaced also stars Nick Frost and was directed by Edgar Wright.

The Walking Dead is back and boy was it good, I hope this sets the tone for the rest of season 2. If you missed it you can watch the full episode "Nebraska" below, it's official and from AMC so it will probably only be live for 5-7 days. Watch it sooner rather than later.

Episode 208, “Nebraska” Rick tries to restore order in the aftermath of a terrible discovery. 

There are now three limited edition prints featuring walkers from Season 2 of The Walking Dead .
The prints are silkscreen in seven colours and each have a run of 400 and was created directly from photos taken by Emmy Award-winning makeup effects designer and co-executive producer Greg Nicotero on set during production and is licensed by AMC. The size of each silk-screened print is 14" x 30". 
All prints are signed by Greg Nicotero and artist Danny Miller. The cost is $40 per print or $110.00 for a set of all three plus shipping and handling.

Adventure game from AMC.....

Gigi Saul Guerrero  director of the short film Dead Crossing is back with another zombie short. This time it's an entry for the Vancouver Virgin Radio Fake Film Festival in which the contestants have to recreate an entire movie with a total running time of 60 seconds. 
Most entries go for the comedy angle but not Gigi! As a big fans of zombies and horror she decided to  recreate the Spanish Horror Zombie Film [REC], Gigi and her team did an amazing  job and you can check it out below.
