We told you about Desert Zombie Last Stand back in August and now it is here along with a cool rock video. What do I think? Well I haven't played it yet, the reviews are not looking kind which surprises me because I think it looks good. Maybe someone over at Eighth Wonder Studios will send me a promo copy to review ;) Desert Zombie: Last Stand has been released and is available NOW on the Apple App Store! Released in September 2011 by Fluik Entertainment Inc. – compatible with iPhone, iPod touch and iPad. Requires iOS 4.0 or later.
What can I say about it? Well, first of all, it doesn’t have any information on how to play it or what to do. It was a little bit confusing but after a while figured out, grab and throw objects you have at that office zombie.
There is a daily challenge for you to try to achieve. I did two challenges and received a daily reward, an eyeball, which I can use to buy more objects to throw. Objects like a grenade, a teddy bear bomb, a hammer, a brick, a fish? a bear trap, a pumpkin, an empty can, a saw blade, a stapler, or a pot of poison? More to unlock if you want.
Let’s talk about the animation and character design. It has an awesome creative office set and funny character. The sounds are okay as well.
The biggest problem of the game for me is I’m not sure what the point of this game is. There is a free version which was good enough for me, I don't think it's worth it to spend your money to remove ads.
Unfortunately I have to give office zombie 1.5 out of 5. The 1.5 is for the graphics and the background set. I’m sorry Fluik.
I have just finished making Monster Stak and it's now up in the app store just in time for Halloween...

A cool addictive game compatible with iPhone, iPod touch and iPad (iOS 3.0 or later) published and created by Fabrication Games Europe AB.
According to Fabrication Games, Zombie Hero was a spare-time project. I think they did a phenomenal job! They definitely knew what people were looking for in a game. Simple, addictive, fun, free, awesome music and sound effects, well-designed and entertaining.
Bernie, the main character, our zombie hero is taking a revenge on the ninjas who neutered his family, kidnapped his dog and took his house. There are 2 ways to play it, tilt or touch. For me, I prefer to “tilt”. It’s easier to control Bernie and at least I have 2 free thumbs =)
How do you kill the angry ninjas? Keep jumping and make sure Bernie doesn’t touch the ground or he will lose his limbs one by one. With all the flying ninjas, you can jump higher and stomp them on the heads. With the sumo ninjas, you need to thump them twice. There are some flying objects that you can seize. These objects will help you in fighting, such as a first aid item that will give Bernie a body part back, a giant stomp that will crush multiple ninjas in one jump for extra score multipliers, a time bullet that will slow down the time making it effortless and a score multiplier piece that will boost your score.
Don’t lose Bernie’s feet, limb and hands…as there are 20 achievements to complete. Another element that Free Zombie Hero has is the bonus time. All the ninjas will turn into robots and Bernie needs to squash them all without falling on to the ground. Does this game sound challenging? Not really, but challenges do not matter. The craving of playing this game again and again is what matters!
On the whole, after writing the above review, Zombiesdrule is giving Free Zombie Hero 4 stars out of 5 for the ingenious works of Fabrication Games Europe and making it free for all apple gamers.
