ZombieDrule thinks..The tag line for this movie is, "Fear is Rising". Really, the only thing rising in the film was my boredom level. The film starts set in 1965, in Northern Spain. A dam is being built to bring progress to the people of Desbaria, which means the town of Marienbad is to be completely flooded. Teo and Luis are playing in the evacuated town when they hear voices in the abandoned church. Of course they explore and find a group of people chained up in the basement which is for some reason already starting to flood. Teo releases one of them and is rewarded by having his face ripped apart, leaving his friend Luis does what we all would do... RUN AWAY. Forty years pass,we know this because the people of Desbaria are organising the lamest party ever,"The Fortieth Anniversary of Debaria Dam" party. YAWN.... A teenage boy drowns in the lake while his girlfriend Susana and their friend Clara Borgia watches, it goes down hill from here. It just gets worse so I'm going to give you some bullet points.
I hate giving films bad reviews almost as much as I hate watching them, but not every film can be good. This is the kind of Zombie movie you can put on in the background while playing Zombies!!! and on the plus side the cool zombie really is pretty cool.
