I've said it before, and I'm sure I will say it a few more times.
"Lots of zombie movies are bad" This maybe due to the fact there are so many of them, we are heading towards 600.

The 1997 movie Bio Zombie comes from Hong Kong, it's dubbed in English with a terrible movie poster/DVD cover and lets face it, the title has a lot to be desired. We had the feeling we always have when we think the movie we are about to watch may be terrible, it's called, "Got to watch them all at some point, so lets get this one out the way." feeling.

What a surprise, Bio Zombie is a great zombie flick. It has humor, gore, great effects. The best way to describe this film is a cross between Dawn of the Dead, and Shaun of the Dead, but with voices that don't quite line up with there mouths.

A soft drink poisoned with chemicals, yes Bio-Chemical makes it's way out of a lab and into the hands of some kids who sell boot-leg VCD's in the local mall. Drinking the drink doesn't just refresh you, it
kills you and brings you back as a flesh-eating zombies. Woody Invincible and Crazy Bee are driving their bosses car back to the mall they work in when they hit a man. Of course they do what any of us would do... well not quiet, they bundle him into the trunk and bring him back to the mall. Yes you guessed it, he gets out and before you can say, "ahhhhh look out there's Zombies everywhere." well there's Zombies everywhere. We then follow the guys trying to get out of the closed mall as they get picked of one by one.

Bio-Zombie is funny, gory, and entertaining. It's a must watch and gets a 4.5 out of 5.
