ZombieDrule thinks..At first when I told Zombie Dave we were watching Dead Air he was all confused, "Why? We have seen it already". "Have we?" I thought. He then went on to explain that it was the one with the zombies on the plane, like the snake one. I guess it had been a long day at work for both of us, we then realized that he was talking about Flight of the Living Dead and this was nothing like that at all. Logan is a late-night radio talk show host, who with his side kick talk crap with the public through the early hours of the morning. This time it's paranoia. The calls start off strange, but after a while they get stranger with one caller insisting they turn the TV on. When they eventually do they see that there has been an outbreak of some kind, terrorist maybe? And people are bleeding from their eyes and killing each other. Dead Air is an ok film. There are some things that really work, one being the cast. Moseley is very well cast as Logan and his voice sounds so much like a DJ. You will be wondering what station he is on. His side kick Otis is also very believable along with the rest of the cast. I'm not sure how much of a Zombie movie this is, the infected aren't really that zombie-ish, more like the infected in 28 Days Later, but without the scare or realistic make up. To be fair though this film is more about the characters and how they react to the situation than the zombies. Would I recommend Dead Air? Sure, if you are in the mood for a zombieish flick that's more about the people and the horror of the situation, and less about the horror of the zombies.
