ZombieDrule thinks..Dead Heat is a little known 1988 "buddy cop" zombie movie staring Joe Piscopo of "Saturday Night Live" fame and Treat Williams. Even though this wasn't a huge success at the box office it was still a pretty good 80's zombie flick, think Tango and Cash + Zombies. It starts off like any buddy cop movie, there are some bad guys robbing a jewelry store, and then they just won't die. No matter how many times the cops shot them. A little while later while investigating the robbery a fist fight breaks out with another zombie and Roger (Treat Williams) get lock in an animal euthanasia room. The life gets sucked out of him, Doug (Joe Piscopo) does what any good partner would do and brings him back to life in a big machine like contraption. At this point in the movie he finds out that being back from the dead comes with a catch, after a while you start to rot and bits may fall off you. They then race around looking for his killer before he decomposes. The Good.
The Bad
This film is worth watching, it's exactly what you would expect from a 1988 zombie cop buddy movie.
