ZombieDrule thinks..Want to beat a zombie to death with a gigantic teddy bear? Then "Dead Rising" for the Xbox 360 is the game for you. You play as Frank West, a freelance photojournalist, investigating why the town of Willamette, Colorado has suddenly been sealed off by the US Army. You're set in the City’s mall which is filled with thousands of the undead and you must survive three days until a rescue arrives. If you're expecting an intense game with a serious storyline like "Resident Evil" this is going to be a big let down for you, but if your expecting a fun, gory, blood filled time then get your chainsaw ready "Dead Rising" will not let you down. There are a few flaws in the game for example it's only single player. Really Capcom? Such a great game and no co-op? The game practically cries out for co-op. Other than no co-op, the only other flaw is the boring story mode. But if you don’t want to play in story mode its okay you don't have to. You can spend endless hours bashing the brains of the living dead with the hundreds of weapons found in the mall including anything from a bottle of ketchup to a lawn mower. "Dead Rising" is a down right fun game in which you can waste nights away blasting the head off zombies with your boom stick. If you have a hatred for walking rotting corpses and can’t resist the urge to decapitate their heads pick up your copy of "Dead Rising". |
