There's nothing really new to the idea of a group of young adults going out to a cabin in the middle of nowhere to get away from it all. Everyone knows bad stuff is going to happen.
 So what separates "Dead Snow" from every other horror film with that plot? They're aware that they're in chartered territory and decide to have fun with it... Oh, and did I mention the Nazi Zombies... Ya... These have to be some of the most bad ass zombies ever to make it to the big screen.

After a group of med students decide to spend the weekend at one of their cabins in the woods, suspicions are aroused when their friend, who's cabin their staying at, isn't there when they arrive. Shortly after a visit from the local wandering prophet, they stumble across some Nazi gold under the floor boards of the cabin. You may of guessed it, but deciding to keep it was a bad idea.

"Dead Snow" is crammed with over the top scenes and gut wrenching deaths. Watching it with a group of people with both avid zombie lovers and zombie newbies everyone enjoyed this film. And being an avid zombie lover myself I was even shocked by some of the boundaries they pushed.
I think this movie can be summed up by the one line that the main hero has after stumbling across a large hanging swastika in the Nazi graveyard hidden in the mountains, "Oh f*ck!".That's right, when you're dealing with undead Nazi's, you're f*cked.
