ZombiesDrule Thinks...Hell of the Living Dead was an appropriate title for this film. Cause watching this film felt like I was in hell. That's a bit extreme but not too far from the truth. After a chemical leak at the Hope Centre in New Guinea an organization devoted to feeding underdeveloped countries turns its staff into flesh-eating zombies. A four-man commando squad, dressed like Smurfs, are sent to investigate. They run into a TV news crew led by celebrity reporter Lia, who are after the same story, but what they discover is that the entire country has been overrun by zombies. Now they must fight for their lives in order to survive. Reading that plot back it sounds like 90% of every "B" zombie film we've ever watched here at zombiesdrule, but with one big difference. The commando squad dressed like smurfs. Well they were dressed all in matching blue coveralls. So they didn't really like like smurfs, more like painters. Painters with machine guns. Honestly that was the most memorable thing about this film. Making fun of the fact this commando squad looked like they just finished repainting my living room. If you like really cheesy "B" movies then this might be right up your alley. But I wouldn't expect much if I was you.
