ZombiesDrule thinks..Posted on the app store in July 2009 by Monkey Wrench Games LLC. The lite version which is free was released in January 2010. As you know the full version has a lot more levels, zombie types and upgrade items. It also has boss fights! Kids vs. Zombies? Are they really kids? Yes they are. This game is not gory at all – rated 9+. Dexter is a demolition expert. Scarlett is a long-range sniper. Marcus is a close-combat specialist. They all have different ammo and abilities. The first 3 levels were kinda difficult for me to aim especially since each level begins at sunset and continue through the night where it becomes dark. When it’s dark you can't tell where the zombies are coming from until they get close enough. In the mean time keep aiming and shooting! After going through a few levels my fingers adjusted comfortably and my ratio got better. After each level you will earn some money which you can spend to upgrade your weapons, defense skills and powers. Kids vs. Zombies could be a fun game if you go with the full version. I found that the lite version can develop into monotonous entertainment. Is it enjoyable overall? I think it’s all right. I wouldn’t expect to get addicted much. Well not to worry… with this game you can pause it, save it and continue the challenges when you feel like you’re ready to slate the UNDEAD. (this sentence doesn't make sense because you haven't given the reader anything to worry about. You need to set it up with something like "Battling hordes of the undead starting to bore you?".) |
