ZombieDrule thinks. The thing about Red Dwarf is you either love it or hate it. I'm indifferent...no no stick with me, let me explain. When Red Dwarf first came on TV I was sharing a house with my girl friends brother, it was kind of like a student house with one big difference. We had both started working so we had money, thats right, money. Having money was cool. The first thing we bought was a TV, 2 comfy chairs, and a table to go in between the chairs. When I say table I mean a beer fridge :) Red Dwarf + Comfy Chair + Beers + Mate = Good times So I loved Red Dwarf, then I sat down to watch Epideme to write this review. Here is the plot. The crew of Red Dwarf come across an abandoned ship giving of a signal of one survivor. This turns out to be the frozen body of one of Listers former crushes, Caroline Carmen. They bring here back to the ship, and she starts to defrost. In the middle of the night Zombie Caroline manages to get to first base with Lister, infecting him with the Epideme virus before dropping down dead. With Listers fate of becoming a Zombie ahead of he he fails to reason with the virus through a communication link and ends up getting his right arm cut off. Kochanski has another idea, the rest of Lister is saved. How will he cope missing his arm that does, "All his favorite things" Now, based on this one episode I'm indifferent...It still made me laugh, but not as much as it used to, maybe it was the lack of beer. |
