Hooray another independent zombie comedy movie from the UK. I get to write these because being English I understand the silly accents and local jokes.

Available to watch online on my PC for $1.99 I wasn't excepting it to be very good, but then shortly after it had started I knew I was going to get my money's worth.

Stag Night of the Dead starts of with a group of lads drinking beer laughing at the mostly naked groom who is hanging upside down being whipped by a sexy girl in a tight rubber/leather suit.
As the stag night continues the group are driven to the the next event, "Zomball", arranged by the best man. Zomball is as the name suggests a bit like paintball, but instead of paint you have guns that shoot lightning, and you get to shoot these at zombies. After a while the guns need to be recharged, and it doesn't kill the zombies, just stuns them. This means you have to plan things carefully or you could end up as a zombie dinner. 


There are a couple of rules while playing Zomball - 
            1- Always stay together.
            2- Never humiliate a zombie.

Can you guess what happens? Yes they break both the rules, and the game turns from a fun day out into a game of survival.

For a low budget independent movie the script, acting and effects were all very good. I've read other reviews that say the acting is a little over the top, and I know which characters they are referring to, but believe me when I say there really are people in the UK like that.
Would I recommend Stag Night of the Dead? Yes I would. in fact I enjoyed it so much I ordered myself a copy on DVD. 

I want to write more about the plot and characters but I don't want to give too much away, so instead here is the summary from their website:

Set in the grip of a global pandemic and on the eve of Dean's wedding, a group of old school friends head off to a run down military base with a PVC clad stripper for the ultimate stag party experience.
Forget paintball, at Zomball you get to shoot zombies with a dirty great stun gun. It's a game that is literally more than life or death.
After breaking the golden rule of Zomball - "never humiliate a zombie" - it becomes a fight for survival as the truth about the new world order is revealed and suddenly the mother-in-law is the least of Dean's problems...
Stag Night of the Dead is a zom-com in the tradition of Shaun of the Dead with a little bit of American Pie thrown in for good measure and features zombies, sex, big guns, a giant, a dwarf and cinema's first cycling zombie.
