ZombiesDrule Thinks...And the final chapter of the Zombi/Zombie movies is complete. Of course Zombie 5: Killing Birds seemingly has nothing to do with the other Zombi films and also came out one year before Zombie 4. Figure that one out. Add to the fact that the zombies only come out in the last few minutes of the film and only one character is attacked by birds... you got yourself a film that doesn't make a whole heck of sense. Stop me if you've heard this one before. Group of students go out into the woods to study a rare species of bird. After stumbling across a creepy abandoned house they decide to the the sensible thing and spend the night in the creepy abandoned house in the middle of nowhere. Death ensues and people start freaking out. But of course it's too late... it's always too late. This film was disappointing to say the least. It was bordering on not even being a zombie film until they crammed everything in at the end. The horror wasn't bad. It certainly was startling at times. But the movie was slow and boring for most of the film. Once again I will say that if you're looking for zombies you might as well skip to the last 20 minutes, cause otherwise you'll be like me. Tearing your hair out waiting for some zombie action. And if you're expecting some Hitchcock like killer birds you're also out of luck, and would be better looking elsewhere. All and all a mediocre film full of lies. And lies make Zombie Jesus cry.
