Zombie Driftwood is a new low-budget British zombie comedy, or a Zomedy! Shaun of the Dead and Doghouse both came from Britain and they were good so this one will be good as well, right? It says right here on the box, "The funniest zombie movie since Shaun of the Dead". Zombie David and I both loved that so we were very excited to watch Zombie Driftwood. 1 hour 15 minutes later we where both crying into our empty beer glasses, and sadly they were not tears of laughter.

The only thing this film had going for it was it was filmed in the Cayman Islands, everything else was bad. The jokes were few, and it seemed the worse the jokes got the longer they dragged them out.

If you really want to know what it's about I will try to sum it up so you don't have to sit through it. Zombie Driftwood is the story of 4 rock fans who are following there favourite band around the world, this brings them to Driftwood, on the Cayman Islands. After being there for about 30 minutes they find themselves under attack from zombies. These zombies used to be the passengers of an American cruise ship which mysteriously vanished in the Bermuda Triangle and reappeared on the local beach.
Using the local bar as a safe house they fight the zombies off by helping them continue their holiday. Oh and there is a music video mashed in there too.

I would give this film a miss.
