ZombieDrule thinks..Zombie David and I had been putting off watching Zombie Honeymoon on Netflix for a couple of months now, not because we had heard bad things about it but because of the title of the film. Zombie Honeymoon, I mean come on.....With the old, well we have to watch it sometime attitude we fired up the xbox 360, clicked the Netflix button and hit play. Zombie Honeymoon is pretty good, as the title suggests it is set around Denise and Danny a couple who have just gotten married and are on Honeymoon in a friends beach house in New Jersey. On day two they go down to the beach and a weird looking man comes staggering out of the sea, he walks straight up to the couple and attacks them. Danny tries to fight him off and the zombie starts vomiting back bloody goop all over his face and into his mouth. The zombie then dies and so does Danny. Ten minuets after being declared dead by the Doctor he comes back to life, they ask him how he feels, he says fine and they send him home..WHAT? The rest of the film follows Danny slowly turning into a zombie and the struggles of sticking by your man as he starts to eat people. It's not a daft as it sounds and the acting by Tracy Coogan (Denise) is very good, Graham Sibley (Danny) is ok strangely his acting gets better the more he turns into a zombie. The make up is pretty solid, as is the directing, I'm not going to tell you how it ends as all and all it's worth a watch.
