The Seattle Zombies have something pretty amazing planned for their next walk, the title kind of gives it away. For the first time in Seattle, the Zombie Horde will be chomping it's way through the Seattle Light Rail commuters. When, where, what time you ask? - WHEN - Friday May 27th
- WHERE - West Lake Park, Pine St and 4th Avenue, starting at West Lake Station
- TIME - 6:30 pm, walk starts at 7:00pmIt's worth noting you will need $2.50 for the light rail ticket, just because your are dead it doesn't mean you can travel for free.
We wish we could be there, but sadly we can't make it. We are looking for some people who can record the "Attack the Light Rail" for are zombie walks page and zombierater.com. 1 photo or 100 photos, even video, whatever you can do. It's great to see on the Facebook page that already 1800 plus people have said they are already going, and there are still 4 months to go. The organizers are also doing a search for other zombie-themed events taking place on August 20th for an official pre- or post-Walk party!
Newcastle Zombie Walk want you to join the ranks of the evil dead.
Newcastle is holding a Zombie Walk. This will entail you dressing up and being scary, then joining the zombie horde. For a mock apocalypse, a 'mockalypse' if you will.
This is to be filmed for an up coming movie epic to be filmed on Tyneside. So if you want to eat flesh, or just have a laugh, get your decaying pale flesh on and let's eat some proles!

Starting at 3pm, drag your sorry carcass round to Kelvingrove Park. Starting at the Eldon Street/Park Rd entrance we have ourselves a good old-fashioned zombie stroll in the park and finish at the Kelvingrove street entrance. I'd say a good 45 mins.
We have an after-party going on in Sloans, 4pm till 10ish. Free entry, and there'll be a BBQ in the courtyard with some dj's/zombie films going on for ya'll. As well as the after-party there's a Zombie Ball happening on Saturday night (the 30th - 7pm till 1am). £5 a ticket from Sloans, some more zombie themed films, munchies, prizes, dj's. Good shtuff!
Obviously it'd be good to see ya'll in some zombie get-up however some Left4Dead/Resident Evil/Military gear etc wouldn't go amiss either especially if you fancied being a steward on the walk and wanna keep those zombies in check :) If you wanna be a steward then drop us a Facebook line or email at zombieking@glasgowzombiewalk.co.uk. It's more fun than it sounds, you get privileges :)
And if anyone fancies participating in staged scenes or scenarios, or even better help to put them up, again drop a line folks.
More stuff...please don’t bring any real props or alcohol. Also pay attention to the stewards (wearing yellow arm bands) – they know the route and know what’s going to happen. If they say don’t go swimming or to stop eating the dog, then it’s probably best to listen. Lastly…just because some other zombie is eating a human doesn’t mean you should! Try not to take it too seriously, bystanders don’t want to get beaten down and blood stains all over their Sunday best.
As an aside from that, go join the mother group Glasgow Zombie Walk and that Twitter thing. Zombies do technology these days too you know! So much so in fact that the Zombie powers that be are.

Harrisburg Zombie Walk Rules
These are the same rules that were posted last year, and they seemed to work pretty well so I'm leaving them up! But if you don't feel like reading them all, here's a summary: "Be cool, DON'T be an idiot and ruin it for all of us!"
1. Act like a zombie! :) 2. Participants will not touch bystanders, shoppers not involved in the zombie walk, spectators, animals, cars, buildings, or anything not belonging to them. Aka: be cool, don't be an idiot. 3. There will be no scaring/attacking anyone who is not a willing participant. If someone you come across seems to be scared of you, please turn away and move in the opposite direction. Confrontations with anyone will not be tolerated. 4. If you're out in the mall parking lot, please be careful! 5. No drugs or alcohol during the walk. It’s your prerogative what goes on after the walk has concluded, but drugs or alcohol brought to the walk will not be tolerated and you will be asked to leave. Yet again, we don’t want anyone to be arrested. 6. No littering and absolutely no destruction of property. We want to stay in character but that is going way too far. 7. Be on your best behavior. Local media will be paying attention to this event. Also, mall security will be paying close attention. Trust me. 8. The “official” zombie walk is all ages. What you do after the walk is up to you. I know that many of us will be heading to downtown Harrisburg for food and lots of drinks, but to do this you MUST be 21. 9. No shoplifting. Another "DUH" rule, but I had to get it out there. Please don't be insulted! 10. Don't impede the flow of traffic in hallways, aisles, the food court, etc. People will be trying to shop and we don't want to be a nuisance. 11. Myself and the organizers of this event are not in any way, shape, or form liable for your actions or behavior before, during, or after this Zombie Walk. Most of these things should be self-explanatory, but I just wanted to get this out there for you all to read. Just remember: We’re all in this for the same reason – to have fun and get our zombie on!
Thanks everyone, let's make this year's zombie walk even more bad ass than last year!!
Note: This is an event for people of all ages, races, genders, religions, political affiliations, sexual orientations, and so on, and so on...please no derogatory costumes. 2010 Harrisburg Zombie Crawl Photo Contributors: Ronaldo l.Davis Jesus Martinez Brittany Falchek
WHERE & WHY: Join us Saturday, October 30th at 1pm - Heritage Park. As last year, this event is in support of the Elizabeth Fry (GAP) Grocery Assistance Program. Please bring a non perishable food item to donate!
