ZombiesDrule thinks..This film follows an out of work zombie actor as he tries to land a role in order to provide for his family. All his troubles seem to be over when he finds out there is a casting call for a role as a zombie, the part his way born to play, only problem is they want a human to play the role. Can he put his acting skills to the test and play a human playing a zombie?
"Zombies Don't Lick" was an interesting idea, but it felt like that was as far as it got. I never was really into the characters and the main actor I could barely even hear. Apparently zombies don't project either. The kid in the film wasn't as much cut as he was gimmicky, trying to get the audience to go "aw a kid dressed up as a zombie" but he looked like the "I like turtles" kid and creeped me out like him too. It wasn't the worst zombie film out there, but I felt like there were a lot better things I could of done with those 5 minutes it took to watch it, but hey if you have 5 mins to spare why not give it a go. |
ZombiesDrule "Bite Size" Interview.....with Graham Robinson
Your role was? Writer, Director and Editor. How did this film come about? A friend of mine told me about a zombie short submission deadline and I was off to the races. I had three weeks. What is next for you? What will your next movie be? I'm going to step away from the zombies and shoot something about internet dating. Which do you prefer Fast or Slow Zombies? Slow, definitely. What is your weapon of choice for taking on Zombies? Shotgun. What is your favourite Zombie Film? The Omega Man is classic. Shaun of the Dead is great fun but I'll never forget when Brendan Gleeson gets blood in his eye during 28 Days Later. Worst Zombie Film? I'm probably not in a position to judge anyone else's bad zombie film. Favourite Zombie Book or Game? The first Resident Evil on Playstation. |
