ZombiesDrule thinks..Zombies on Acid by Jason Kilroe. Which is exactly how it sounds except it's actually the hero that's on acid not the zombies.
We follow the hero (Paul Conneors) preparing to battle the Zombies, he is busying organizing all of his zombie killing weapons, once ready he pops a little acid on his tongue. Then everything becomes clear, the acid seems to give him the ability to fight fearlessly, and come up with every one liner from ever 80's movie you can think of. Its a fun little movie that's worth a watch, so hit that play button if you haven't already done so... |
ZombiesDrule "Bite Size" Interview.....Paul Conners
Your role was? Paul Connors, star and cowriter of the movie How did this film come about? This movie was conceived as an entry for the Dead on Film competition at the Rio. We always wanted to make a zombie movie, so we jumped at the opportunity to be able to make a movie that would be shared with other zombie lovers like ourselves. What is next for you? What will your next movie be? It's hard to say, our film received such a positive reception that another horror movies certainly is a possibility. I'd like to make some sort of creature feature, but budgetary restrains will probably be the deciding factor. We'll also be working on a sequel to our warehouse safety video, "Saftey First" a gruesome instructional video on what NOT to do in a warehouse environment, full of forklift implements, decapitations, and the standard dismemberment. Which do you prefer Fast or Slow Zombies? Strictly the slow moving Romero influenced Zombies. When the cause of zombie outbreak is a virus or infection, running is acceptable. In most cases though, it's just not really plausible that something that was dead would be able to move so fast. It's more of a threat, sure, but zombies are unique in the sense that they move slow. The terror of zombies is their sheer number, and the feeling of helplessness associated with being overwhelmed by them. What is your weapon of choice for taking on Zombies? I'll have to take a cue from horror icon Bruce Campbell and say the twelve-gauge double barreled Remington. Sawed off, of course. As fun as more basic weapons can be for those intimate kills, there's no pleasure quite like blowing a zombie clear across the room or watching their head explode at point blank. What is your favourite Zombie Film? Easily George A. Romero's original Dawn of the Dead, a masterpiece in every aspect and one of the most influential zombie movies ever. Worst Zombie Film? Hard to say, because there's alot of crap out there. I'm sure it's not the worst, but Undead really angered me for some reason. Favourite Zombie Book or Game? My favorite Zombie game would have to be a toss up between Left for Dead 2 and House of The Dead 2. Both are infinitely replayability and offer nothing but pure zombie slaying laughs and thrills. As for books, i'd say World War Z. Great follow up to the survival guide, and an epic book in it's own right. Bring on the movie. |
