We had a complete Zombie evening planned.
I had a friend come over with this new board game he had been given, my wife prepared snacks (when I say prepared a mean emptied a huge bag of chips/crisps into the biggest bowl we had and cracked open some cans of beer), and as I wasn't holding out much hope for the game I had a Zombie movie cued up to watch and  review.

We all settled down on the floor, emptied the big bag of plastic zombies out and I pressed play.
Then he started to read the instructions out, 30 seconds later  I pressed paused, and we sat and figured out how to play. 
After 20 minutes of scratching our heads we just decided to start playing the game and I pressed play on the DVD player. 30 seconds later I pressed pause and the movie never got watched...

Once we started playing the instructions became apparent, the idea of the game is to kill and collect 25 zombies, or get to the helipad before anyone else.
The board evolves as each player takes a turn they pick up and lay a card which forms a city, each card then gets zombies placed on it. 
You then have to move your player, battle zombies,  move zombies around (to slow your opponents down) and plan an escape root. 
I started the game all , " ahhhhh kill Zombies!!!" 
This didn't work, it soon turned into a mass panic and 4 hours passed by.

We all enjoyed Zombies!!! a lot, we also learnt you can't trust your friends, and you can't watch a movie and play at the same time. 

Despite not winning the game I will give it I high 4/5 and we have another game planned with twice as many people...

UPDATE:
Playing with 6 people and 1 expansion pack is crazy good fun...
But 'Be Warned', put aside a least 4 hours and have aplenty of  food and drinks to keep you going...
